Are you heading to one of the concerts in Edinburgh?

Check out the site map attached and please read the advice from the event organisers ahead of the gig:

  • Plan ahead your travel using
  • There are two entrances to the site so please use both (the box office is located at the East Entrance and you should use this if you need to collect a ticket)
  • There will be security on entry so please expect searches and queues on entry
  • Bag searches will be in place – please don’t bring a bag larger than A3 as it won’t be permitted
  • Be prepared for all weather conditions as the weather is very unpredictable – umbrellas are not permitted
  • If you feel unwell, please seek help immediately from a member of festival staff or a steward

Drop and Roll at Underbelly raises £6,915 in support of OneCity Trust

There was a packed house at Underbelly’s Circus Hub on Wednesday, where a special gala performance of Danny MacAskill’s Drop and Roll raised £6,915 in support of OneCity Trust’s work in Edinburgh.

“Tremendous response” to three council consultations

The city council has received more than 8,000 consultation responses to the consultation on major changes proposed for Edinburgh’s city centre. The capital’s population is now aroung half a million people.

The Council went out to consultation on three different proposals over the summer: Edinburgh City Centre Transformation, Meadows to George Street and Low Emission Zones during May, June and July. Continue reading “Tremendous response” to three council consultations

No laughing matter: council recruits extra cleaners for city centre

Extra street cleaners have been drafted in to help keep the Capital – well, the city centre – clean during this year’s Festival.

Scottish space firm Skyrora celebrates successful rocket engine testing

Scottish space company Skyrora has successfully carried out testing on a fully 3D-printed, commercial rocket engine for the first time ever in the UK.

CCTV appeal following serious assault in Victoria Street

Police have released CCTV images of a group of four men they are looking to trace following an incident in Victoria Street.

At around 3am hours on Friday 8th March 2019 in Victoria Street, a 26-year-old man was injured in an altercation and later attended hospital for treatment. The men pictured are of interest to this investigation and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
