Girlguiding’s recent Girls’ Attitudes Survey showed that at 11–16 years old, 43% of girls think it will be hard for them to progress as women in a male-dominated industry. This rises to 66% in 17–21-year-olds.
We ran Camp CEO to give our young members the opportunity to raise their aspirations, showing girls that there are many career paths, and giving them the skills to succeed in whatever path they choose.
A Ranger (17) who attended shared: “Camp CEO has really inspired my potential at a time I have felt worried for my future. I didn’t realise how much listening to other people’s experiences could change my mindset. It has made the world feel bigger and with hard work, my goals feel more achievable.”
