Tom Kitchin to visit PCHP this morning

Michelin star chef Tom Kitchin is calling in to PCHP on Boswall Parkway this morning to show his support for Scotland’s oldest community health project.

Tom is supporting PCHP’s crowdfunding initiative with some tasty offers to tempt donors:

  • First person to donate £1000 or more receives the Chef’s surprise Tasting Menu for two people, with matching wines, at Michelin star restaurant The Kitchin, 78 Commercial Quay, Leith
  • First person to donate £250 or more receives 6 oysters and 2 glasses of champagne at Southside Scran 14-17 Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh
  • First person to donate £200 or more receives personalised and signed copies of each of Tom Kitchin’s cookbooks; From Nature to Plate, Kitchin Suppers, Meat & Game, Fish & Shelfish

To be eligible to claim an incentive, donations must include your full details – anonymous donations will not be eligible to claim. Only one incentive can be claimed per donation.

Funding cuts crisis: Voluntary Sector Forum meets this morning

Forth & Inverleith Voluntary Sector Forum meets this morning (Monday 18th February) from 9:30 – 11.30am at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre. 

Forum members will discuss funding cuts of over £600,000 to local projects and will consider the impact this will have on the community. A plan for a local voluntary sector response will also developed at the meeting.
