Youth jailed for violent attacks

A teenager has been sentenced to four years in prison for violent attacks on two men in Edinburgh city centre last year.

The now 17-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, pled guilty to one charge of attempted murder and one charge of assault to severe injury at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday 18 January 2019, and yesterday he was sentenced for the attacks that happened within three days of each other last September.
