Fiona Manson (left) and Eilidh MacAskill (right), are performing in the relaxed performances of The Polar Bears Go Up at The Studio, 22 Potterrow this week for pupils of Edinburgh’s special schools. The show about two intrepid polar bears and their journey into space is touring to Cumnock, Stirling and Greenock in February.

AfriFest – a vibrant celebration of Africa Arts and Culture, and the unique input black performers have made to the artistic and cultural landscape of Scotland. 2 day festival will include live music, dance, workshops, film and food, as well as the culture of people of African descent, supporting artistic expression and the pursuit of excellence and innovation. Performers include the award winning Senegalese kora maestro Seckou Keita.
Free visit to the Edinburgh Fringe!
North Edinburgh Arts has partnered up with the Fringe Society to offer 20 free places on a trip to the Edinburgh Fringe. This is a fantastic opportunity, so book now before places fill up.
The trip will be on Wednesday 17th August and will leave NEA between 6-7pm, depending on which show is chosen. The choice of shows all have a political theme.
