Police are appealing for information to help trace 24-year-old Maryam Arshad from Edinburgh. Maryam was last seen in the Ferry Road area about 4.45pm on Wednesday, 20 July, 2022.
She is described as being five foot seven inches tall, with long dark hair worn in a ponytail. When last seen was wearing a pink lightweight summer jacket with maroon top underneath, patterned trousers with small flowers.
She was carrying a small black cross body black bag.
Inspector Caroline Flynn said : “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a Maryam and would ask her to get in contact.
“Anyone who knows where she is, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3581 of 20 July.”
Police are continuing to investigate an assault with intent to rob in the Trinity area. The incident took place at around 7.30pm on Sunday, 2 January, 2022 near the junction of South Trinity Road with Ferry Road.
A 13-year-old boy was walking with a friend on South Trinity Road when he was subjected to an attack.
As part of their investigations, officers are eager to trace the males shown in CCTV images who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
The males in the images are described as being in their mid-to-late teens and wearing dark coloured jogging bottoms and hooded tops or tracksuits.
In particular, officers are keen to speak to one of the males who is shown wearing a distinctive pink headband or hood. He is described as being aged 14 to 16 years old, Asian and about 5ft tall.
Officers would ask that any members of the public who recognise the males in the images or have any other information to contact them at the earliest opportunity.
Detective Constable William Doughty of Corstorphine CID said: “This incident left the victim understandably shaken and we are asking for the help of the public to identify those shown in the images as we believe that they may be able to assist with our enquiries.
“Anyone with information that can help our investigation, or who recognises anyone in the images, is urged to contact us or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”

A 37-year-old man was arrested & charged with drugs offences on Monday (03/01/22) after officers on mobile patrol stopped and searched a vehicle on Ferry Road, recovering cannabis valued at £17,000.
The man will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
Police are appealing for information following a hit and run in Edinburgh.
Around 5pm yesterday (Sunday, 13 June) a man was cycling on Ferry Road when he was struck by a motorbike travelling in the same direction. The 52-year-old cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The motorcyclist did not stop at the time and officers are treating the incident as a hit and run.
The motorbike is possibly red in colour and the motorcyclist was wearing protective clothing.
Sergeant Jill Kirkpatrick said: “I would urge the motorcyclist involved to come forward. I am also appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident. If any motorists have dash cams, please check your footage as it could assist our enquiries. Officers are also reviewing CCTV footage from in and around the area for any further information on the motorcyclist.”

Police are appealing for information following a road traffic incident in the north west Edinburgh.
The incident happened at around 11am yesterday (Tuesday, 30th March), when a sliver Mercedes and black BMW were travelling at high speeds between Telford Road and Ferry Road at the junction with Granton Road.
Detective Sergeant Rory Legge said: “The incident took place in broad daylight on a busy stretch of road and we are asking members of the public to come forward with any information they may have.
“If you were in the area at the time and witnessed these vehicles, or have any dashcam or mobile phone footage that could assist with our investigation, I would urge you to contact police.
“Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 1017 of Tuesday, 30th March, 2021.”
Police have arrested a man in connection with a series of frauds in the north east of the city.
The incidents happened between 7pm and 9pm on Monday, 22 February, 2021, and involved the man attending at addresses in the Ferry Road and Leith Walk areas and requesting money for window cleaning services which were never carried out.
A 44-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with three incidents and is due to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
Chief Inspector Murray Tait from Leith Police Station said: “I’d like to thank the public for their assistance with these enquiries and would remind people to be vigilant in respect of anyone who attends at your address seeking payment or to carry out any work.
“Our enquiries are continuing and anyone who may not have reported a similar incident to officers already should come forward “

Three men were arrested in Edinburgh on Wednesday for drug related offences following proactive patrols in the city.
A 27-year-old man was found to be in possession of crack cocaine valued at £220 on Leith Street. He was arrested and charged with drug related offences and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
In an unrelated incident, a vehicle was stopped by officers on mobile patrol on Ferry Road on Wednesday evening.
A 22-year-old man was arrested and a 21-year-old man made off on foot and was arrested a short time later. Crack cocaine and cannabis with a collective value of £1,400 was recovered.
The 22-year-old man was charged with drug related offences and possession of an offensive weapon.
The 21-year-old man was charged with drug related offences, numerous road traffic offences, an obstruction offence and possession of an offensive weapon.
Both will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date for the offences committed on 17/02/21.
