Cash for schools to close attainment gap

More than a hundred secondary schools will receive up to £11.5 million for projects to close the attainment gap, Deputy First Minister John Swinney confirmed yesterday. Demarco exhibition opens at Granton Campus

Edinburgh arts patron Professor Richard Demarco has opened an exhibition of his work charting his collaboration with German legend Joseph Beuys, at Edinburgh College. The project aims to benefit art and design students at the college by giving them insight into the collaborative processes between top artists.

Clubbing it up in Muirhouse

Muirhouse Community Centre has added two more clubs for children (P1-P3 and P3- P4) writes JAMES McGINTY.
