Organisers of IRONKIDS Scotland, a series of three fun and family-focused running events for young people aged 3 to 14, will be providing opportunities for young volunteers between the ages of 8 and 26 to become part of the event planning and delivery teams that will co-produce a key part of Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018 celebrations and the newest events in the hugely popular IRONKIDS global series.

Over £160,000 of funding is being allocated to youth work projects across Edinburgh, and young people have the opportunity to vote for their top three choices on where they think the money should be spent within each local area and on where it should be spent citywide. No tomorrow for Tomorrow’s People

Employability organisation Tomorrow’s People – who’s slogan was Making Life Work – has gone into adminstration. Tomorrow’s People, a registered charity, had a base in North Edinburgh Arts and the company’s failure has resulted in the loss of two local jobs and an uncertain future for young people who were being supported into employment, training or further education.
