The first of four public information events detailing plans to extend the tram line will be held at Leith Theatre on Ferry Road tomorrow from 11am – 6pm. It’s an opportunity for residents and local businesses to view the proposals, have their say and help shape plans for taking trams to Newhaven – should the project be approved by Council later this year, of course.
A major local consultation exercise kicks off this week, seeking feedback on (a) traffic management and business support plans for the construction period and (b) the outline road layout for Leith Walk and the rest of the route.
