DRYLAW TELFORD COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING

Thursday 22 February at 7pm in Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre

Drylaw Telford Community Council is meeting tonight (Thursday) at 7pm in Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre. 

Items on the agenda include an update on Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust’s ongoing consultation on Drylaw’s green spaces, Telford Road parking issues and the proposed tramline extension. All welcome.

Prior to this meeting, a consultation will be taking place within the centre regarding the Easter Drylaw Park planned improvements with the Council (see above). This is between 4pm and 7pm should be of interest if anyone wants to come along earlier.

IAN MOORE

Sad to hear of the death of Drylaw and wider North Edinburgh community stalwart IAN MOORE, who passed away last week (Tuesday 15th).

My deepest sympathy to Muriel and family.

Ian’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 31 January at 10am in Warriston’s Lorimer Chapel.

The meeting starts at 7pm.

Councillor organises Drylaw walkabout

Inverleith SNP councillor Vicky Nicholson has organised a walk round in Drylaw with council officers from the parks team and police on Thursday 29 June at 1pm, meeting at White Church.

Cllr Nicholson said: “This is in response to a few requests by local people and hopefully any questions people have about maintenance of green spaces, areas where people store motorbikes and also other Drylaw issues can be asked and, if not answered during the walk round, followed up by officers and police”.
