Gorgie robbery: CCTV images released

Police Scotland have released images of two males who may be able to assist with their enquiries following a robbery which occurred on Thursday 31 October 2024.

The incident occurred at around 2.40am at the Gorgie Road and Wardlaw Street junction in Edinburgh.

Officers believe the males could assist them in their ongoing enquiries and are appealing for them or anyone who may recognise them or has information about this incident to get in touch.

The first male (pictured) is described as being white, aged between 19-20 years old and approximately 5’8” in height.

He has short, thick dark hair and facial hair. He was seen to be wearing a dark zip-up jumper with a Fred Perry logo on the left chest, socks but no shoes.

The second male (pictured) is described as being white, aged between 18-19 years old and between approximately 5’11” and 6ft in height.

He has short brown hair styled up at the front.

He was seen to be wearing grey jogging bottoms, yellow and purple Nike Dunk style trainers and a black hooded jumper.

A Police Scotland representative said: “We urge the males pictured or anyone who may recognise them to contact us. If you have any information about this incident, please get in touch as soon as possible”.

Assault in Lothian Road: Do you know this man?

POLICE have released images of a man they wish to speak to as part of an ongoing inquiry into an assault in Edinburgh that took place around 12.25am in Lothian Road on Sunday, 13 October, 2024.

Officers believe the man in the images could have vital information which could assist their investigation.

He is described as being in his twenties, around 5ft 9ins tall, and of slim build. He had a Scottish accent and short, dark hair. At the time, he was wearing a grey tracksuit and black Canada Goose jacket with a fur collar.

Police issue CCTV appeal following Stockbridge incident

Police Scotland have released images of a man who may be able to assist them with their enquiries into an incident which occurred on Friday, 11 October, 2024, at around 9pm in the Stockbridge area.

The man (pictured) is described as white, heavy build, clean shaven and around 35 to 40 years old. He was seen to be wearing denim jeans, a dark baseball cap with writing on it and a black hooded top with ‘Hard Rock Café’ written on the front with further writing on the back.​

Princes Street robbery: Do you know this man?

Police Scotland have released images of a male they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery which occurred on Tuesday, 14 May 2024 at around 5pm on Princes Street.

Officers believe the male in the images could assist them in their ongoing enquiries and are appealing for the male himself or anyone who may recognise him, or has information about this incident, to get in touch.

The male (pictured) is described as a white male, aged between 30-40 years old, slim build, brown facial hair and spoke with a Glasgow accent.

The male was wearing a white hooded top, black trousers and a black beanie hat.

Police issue CCTV appeal following serious assault in Frederick Street

Police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation into a serious assault in the city centre on Sunday, 7 July

The assault on the 32-year-old man took place around 3.25am on Frederick Street. The victim was was taken to hospital for treatment.

The man police want to trace is described as a white male, in his early 20’s and of slim build with short dark hair.

He was wearing a white t-shirt with a grey jumper tied round his waist, light blue jeans and white trainers.

Detective Constable Rebecca Curtis said: “We encourage this man, anyone who may recognise him, or anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.”

Brunswick Street robbery: 13 year old boy arrested

POLICE have released images of a male officers would like to speak to in connection with a robbery which occurred on Tuesday, 4 June, 2024 at around 1:45pm on Brunswick Street in Leith.

Officers believe the male in the images could assist them in their ongoing enquiries and are appealing for the male himself or anyone who may recognise him, or has information about this incident, to get in touch.

The male (pictured) is described as a white male, aged approximately 17-18-years-old, 5ft 9 tall, slim build, pale skin, local Edinburgh accent and short ginger/brown hair.

He was wearing a black Nike hoody and Nike jogging bottoms.

A 13-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Edinburgh. The incident took place on Brunswick Street in Leith around 1.45pm on Tuesday, 4 June, 2024.

A report will be sent to the relevant authority.

Cowgate assault: Do you know these men?

POLICE Scotland have released images of two men they wish to speak to who might be able to assist enquiries into an assault which took place in Edinburgh city centre on Saturday, 16 March, 2024.

The incident took place inside a premises in Cowgate around 11pm.

Police urge the two men in the images or anyone who may know them to please contact Police Scotland.

The first man is described as white, average build, approximately 5ft 8ins in height with short brown hair. He was seen to be wearing a long sleeved brown top and jeans and spoke with a local Edinburgh accent.

The second man is described as white, average build, approximately 5ft 8ins in height with dark hair. He was seen to be wearing a long sleeved blue/grey top and spoke with a local Edinburgh accent.

Greenside Place assault: police release CCTV images

Police Scotland have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries into an assault which occurred on Greenside Place in Edinburgh at around 10pm on Sunday 27 November 2022.

The man is described as white, approximately 30-40 years old, clean shaven, short brown hair and of a medium build. He was wearing a dark jacket, white shirt and a dark jumper. 

Constable Justin Lipinski said: “We are eager to talk to the male in these images and would ask him or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch as soon as possible”.

Police have released images of 11 individuals they believe can assist with their enquiries into disorder at the Scottish League Cup final.

Officers are continuing to investigate disorder which occurred on the morning of Sunday, 26 February, 2023 outside Hampden Stadium.

CCTV images released following high value theft at St James Quarter

Police have released images of a man that they wish to speak to as they believe he may have information that can assist with an investigation into a high value theft.

The incident took place around 10am on Wednesday, 1 February, 2023, at Omega Boutique, St James Quarter, Edinburgh.

The man shown in the images is described as being white, about 5ft 8in, average build, 40-50 years old, shaved head, wearing thick dark framed glasses, British accent, wearing a dark khaki green Barbour jacket with hood, dark blue trousers and dark navy trainers.

Police Constable Katherine Mackenzie, from Edinburgh Central Initiative Team, said: “I am asking that the man pictured in the images to make contact with police in order that further enquiries can be conducted. I am also asking members of the public that if they recognise this individual to contact police.
