Scotland, the West and Northern counties see the biggest increase in risk of accidents in the evening rush hour  

The latest data from insurethebox, the UK pioneer of telematics insurance, reveals the true cost motorists pay for an extra hour in bed, with an overall 14% increase in accidents across the UK.

More support for looked after children

More than £8 million of Scottish Government funding was spent last year on projects to improve the attainment of care experienced young people.

Projects as diverse as mentoring programmes, counselling services and driving lessons were supported through the Care Experienced Children and Young People fund.

Dispersal Zones back in place for firework season

Jump in growth for Active Schools

The latest data published by sportscotland shows that the national Active Schools programme continues to have a positive impact on children’s physical activity levels.
