Luminate, Age Scotland and The Ageing Lab are delighted to welcome to Edinburgh inspirational speaker Billie Jordan, founder of New Zealand’s The Hip Op-eration Crew.
Please join us for this exhilarating afternoon where we explore some of the best examples of arts and older people including hearing Billie’s fascinating journey, alongside dance performance by Edinburgh Dance Base’s PRIME and a panel discussion on the themes of arts, ageism, barriers and representation.

You will then be welcome to join in a discussion with the invited panel; the conversation will include arts and older people; ageism in the arts; older people’s representation in the arts, creativity and healthy ageing.
