Tickets on sale for new Oasis film documenting the band’s record breaking 2025 tour – arriving at Vue Edinburgh next month
A new film charting Liam and Noel Gallagher’s triumphant reunion tour, Oasis Live ’25, is heading to the big screen next month – with tickets on sale from now.
Showing exclusively at cinemas from 9 – 17 September, Don’t Look Back in Anger documents one of the biggest musical events in recent years.
The 41-date world tour saw the brothers performing across five continents – with an impressive 17 shows taking place in the UK alone.
The film offers unprecedented access and never-before-seen footage, alongside the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in over 20 years. It also explores the profound emotional impact of the tour and what the band’s music means to audiences and generations worldwide.
Fans will be able to watch Don’t Look Back in Anger on Vue’s biggest screen: EPIC by Vue – the ultimate way to experience the most anticipated releases.

Harry Potter fans will have the chance to step into the wizarding world at Vue Edinburgh Omni this summer, with an exclusive recreation of the iconic Platform 9¾ arriving as part of special 25th anniversary celebrations.
From the 29 August to 1 September, the installation will offer guests a magical photo opportunity before they revisit Harry Potter’s adventures on the big screen, with all eight films in the beloved series returning to Vue from 28 August.
The anniversary season commemorates 25 years since Harry made his big-screen debut in 2001 and will give Potterheads and film fans the perfect opportunity to experience Hogwarts and the wizarding world’s other memorable locations as they were meant to be seen.
Based on the book series that captured the imaginations of a generation, the celebrations will begin with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, introducing The Boy Who Lived, his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and the remarkable professors and pupils of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The series will conclude in early October with the epic two-part showdown of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Harry, Ron and Hermione must leave the familiar surroundings of Hogwarts behind as they prepare for a final confrontation with Lord Voldemort, whose plans threaten both the wizarding and Muggle worlds.
Alongside the exclusive Platform 9¾ photo opportunity, Vue is offering fans the chance to enjoy the films with brand-new merchandise. This includes a collectible popcorn tin with a wand stirrer and a premium Harry Potter-themed cup.
Film lovers in Edinburgh can also enjoy the screenings from Vue’s biggest and comfiest seats, Ultra Lux. Fans can experience the drama, intensity and international flair of world-class football in full cinematic glory at Vue Edinburgh Omni and Ocean as Scotland battle it out through the group stages of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Following their opening Group C victory over Haiti, fans can watch Scotland continue their campaign as they take on Morocco at Boston Stadium in Massachusetts, USA at 11pm BST.
Next, they’ll be facing Brazil at Miami Stadium in Florida at 11pm BST, as Scotland round off their Group C fixtures against one of world football’s biggest names.

This Pride Month, Vue is celebrating with a curated line-up of queer cinema – including a timeless classic, a modern favourite and a brand-new release.
Kicking off the season is an adaptation of Alysia Abbott’s best-selling memoir Fairyland. Produced by Academy Award winner Sofia Coppola, the film follows a young girl whose life is uprooted by her father following the death of her mother. Landing in 1970s San Francisco, dad Steve flourishes with the freedom to develop his writing and date other men, however his bohemian lifestyle clashes with the expectations of parenting.
Be transported to 18th century France as one of the greatest love stories ever told, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, returns to screen from 3 June. The critically acclaimed film follows Marianne, who is commissioned to paint the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young woman who has just left the convent. As the two women orbit one another, intimacy and attraction grow, with the portrait soon becoming a collaborative act of and testament to their love.
Arriving from 5 June is Madfabulous, the true story of fabulously flamboyant Henry Paget as he claims his aristocratic inheritance in 1890s North Wales. His theatrical flair disrupts the upper-class elite, much to the delight of the townspeople. Alongside his cousin Lily and loyal butler Gelert, Henry navigates suffocating traditions, scheming relatives, and the long shadow cast by his estranged father.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, The Birdcage is sashaying back onto the big screen as part of Vue’s Pride season from 6 June. Expect lots of laughs in this 90s cult classic, as gay cabaret owner (Robin Willians) and his drag queen companion (Nathan Lane) agree to put up a false front so that their son can introduce them to his fiancée’s right-wing moralistic parents, played by Dianne Weist and Gene Hackman.
Rounding off the season, animated intergalactic sci-fi Lesbian Space Princess will be arriving on the big screen from 20 June. Watch as Princess Saira, from the planet Clitopolis, travels the GAY-laxy on a chaotic rescue mission to save her ex, who is being held ransom by the Straight White Maliens.

Viral internet sensation The Amazing Digital Circus is coming to the big screen this June at Vue Edinburgh.
Created by Gooseworx and produced by Glitch Productions, the popular animated series has become a global phenomenon since debuting online in 2023, captivating audiences with its surreal humour, emotional storytelling and unique visual style.
The global spectacle comes to its long-awaited conclusion in The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, which arrives at Vue cinemas from Thursday 4 June.
The feature-length release combines episode eight with an all-new extended ninth episode finale, giving fans the chance to experience the conclusion of the story on the big screen before its wider release.
Set within a bizarre virtual circus controlled by the unpredictable AI ringmaster Caine, The Amazing Digital Circus follows a group of humans trapped inside a digital world with no way to escape. As the circus falls into darkness and long-hidden truths begin to surface, the group confront their past traumas and uncover the secrets behind The Digital Circus itself.

To celebrate the arrival of The Devil Wears Prada 2, Vue Edinburgh is hosting a special ‘Runway Ready’ screening of the hotly anticipated sequel at 6.30pm tomorrow (Saturday (2 May).
For fashionistas who think they have what it takes to meet Miranda Priestly’s sky-high fashion standards, Vue welcomes customers to attend the screening clad in their most fabulous attire.
Fans will also have the opportunity to pick up a limited-edition copy of Runway Magazine. To claim a copy of the magazine, customers can present a copy of their booking confirmation email to a member of staff.

To celebrate World Theatre Day (27 March), Vue Edinburgh is highlighting upcoming theatre and opera productions showing on the big screen. Featuring shows from the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Ballet & Opera and National Theatre Live, audiences can enjoy world-class stage productions from the comfort of their local Vue.
The show begins today (24 March) with the Metropolitan’s Opera production of Tristan und Isolde, one of the most celebrated works in the operatic repertoire. Richard Wagner’s epic tale explores themes of longing, love and fate through the relationship of Irish princess Isolde and the knight Tristan.
This new rendition features acclaimed soprano Lise Davidsen in the title role alongside tenor Michael Spyres, bringing Wagner’s powerful and emotionally charged score to cinemas worldwide.
From the Royal Ballet & Opera is another classic from Wagner, Siegfried. Screening on 31 March, follow the titular character as he navigates self-discovery, mythical creatures and long-hidden secrets.

For those looking for something more magical, on 21 April the Royal Ballet & Opera’s enchanting production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute promises a visually spectacular experience.
This beloved opera blends comedy, romance and fantasy as Prince Tamino embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Pamina, guided by the mysterious power of a magical flute and accompanied by the unforgettable bird-catcher Papageno.
Rounding off the programme on 30 April is the dazzling musical favourite Funny Girl – The Musical. From the artists behind the worldwide sensation KPOP Demon Hunters, this film promises a slam dunk of animal antics when it arrives on 13 February – just in time for the half term break.
Also heading to Vue on 13 February is the stunning animated tale Little Amélie, nominated for Best Animated Feature at both this year’s Academy Awards and BAFTA’s. This enchanting story about curiosity, courage and the power of human connection is based on The Character of Rain, the best-selling autobiographical novel by Amélie Nothomb, following a young Belgian girl’s life living in Japan.
Meanwhile, an adorably family twist on the horror classic Frankenstein is screening this half term, with the arrival of Stitch Head. Set in a castle laboratory formally owned by a Mad Professor, we meet his very first creation, Stitch Head – a kind-hearted monster who takes it upon himself to teach the other creations from being quick so monstrous.
Vue will also be screening The Scarecrow’s Wedding and The Smeds and Smoos as part of their Big Shorts screenings from 9 February, as well as the return of recent favourite Spongebob: Search For Squarepants, which will be shown at 10am every day across half term as Vue’s Mighty Morning screening.

From legendary rock bands to modern global sensations, music fans are invited to experience an electrifying line-up of artists on the big screen at Vue Edinburgh Omni Centre this February.
Kicking things off today (5 February) is the latest screening from the Silents Synced series, which pairs classic silent movies with epic rock music to bring audiences a unique big screen experience.
In R.E.M. x Buster Keaton’s Sherlock Jr., albums like Monster and New Adventures in Hi-Fi merge with iconic physical comedy, transporting viewers into Keaton’s dreamlike journey as a cinema projectionist-turned-detective who is framed for stealing his girlfriend’s father’s pocket watch.
Also arriving in February is the explosive live show, Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience. Arriving Friday 6 February, this epic concert film captures sold-out performances and behind-the-scenes moments from global K-Pop phenomenon Stray Kids, including intimate interviews with the group.
From 21 February, Australian genre-bending trio Chase Atlantic brings their Lost in Heaven era to the big screen with Chase Atlantic: Lost in Heaven.
The immersive concert film captures the band’s electrifying final night at London’s iconic O2 Arena. With breathtaking set moments and sweeping crowd-pulsing anthems, fans can relive the intensity and atmosphere of one of Chase Atlantic’s biggest shows yet on the big screen.
Rounding out the programme is acclaimed 2022 Elvis biopic, Baz Lurhman’s EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert is heading to screens from 27 February.
Blending electrifying restored concert footage from Elvis’s legendary 1970s Las Vegas residency with rare, never-before-seen clips and rediscovered audio of Presley recounting his own story, the immersive concert documentary gives fans the unique chance to relive the King of Rock’s charisma and musical mastery.

To mark the arrival of the highly anticipated relaunch of Superman, Vue is holding an extra special screening of the film – with those who book the slot taking home a very special piece of comic book history.
Taking place during the film’s opening weekend, on Friday 11 July, there will be just one Superman Hero Screening at Vue venues in Edinburgh and every booking for the limited screening will come with a copy of All Star Superman No.1 – the comic that inspired James Gunn’s new take on the Man of Steel – to pick up on the day.
