Volunteer Edinburgh Recruitment Fair 2026: Time’s running out to book YOUR stall

There are now just 10 stalls remaining at the Volunteer Edinburgh Recruitment Fair 2026 — and the deadline to book is fast approaching.

If your organisation is looking to recruit new volunteers, this is your last chance to be part of the event. 

The Recruitment Fair brings together over 1,000 potential volunteers and more than 50 charities, community groups and voluntary organisations under one roof. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet people face-to-face, showcase what you do and talk directly to people who are actively looking for ways to get involved. 

Don’t miss the opportunity to put your organisation in front of hundreds of enthusiastic potential volunteers. 

By not attending, you could be missing out on conversations, connections and potential new volunteers who could make a real difference to your organisation.

Everyone is welcome to come along to LifeCare’s free family Summer BBQ on Friday 20th June, 12 – 4pm, Cheyne Street, Stockbridge.  

We have two market stall places left for those wanting to sell their crafts or promote their local business – first come, first served!

Time running out to book your stall at Volunteer Fair 2024

Stallholder bookings deadline is Wednesday 18th September at 5pm

The stallholder terms and conditions are available on our website, and additional resources including a risk assessment, exhibitors guide, promotional marketing can all be found to downloaded.
There is also a range of FAQs for any of those all important queries you may have.

What to expect

The Volunteer Recruitment Fair 2024 will showcase the wide range of ways that people can get involved in volunteering with organisations big and small, local and national, who serve a diverse range of communities and causes all coming together with the common aim to attract new volunteers.

Entry is FREE to the public, and more than a thousand potential volunteers are expected to visit and experience the diverse range of ways they can become involved.

Volunteering helps people truly participate in their communities, build new skills, get a taste of different working environments, create new friendships and boost individual confidence and wellbeing. Or simply just feel good that they have done something that made a difference.

When visitors need to sit down after taking in all of this new information there is a café by Space serving delicious food and drink.

Our last fair helped hundreds of people in their search for volunteering opportunities, connecting them with the organisations that needed their help.

North Edinburgh Community Festival: Book your stall

If you are looking to reach and engage with over 10,000 people in the North Edinburgh area, then register to participate in the festival.

We have 80 stalls this year and they are fast selling out!

You can be a group, charity, organisation or individual selling arts and crafts. From gardeners to third sector, from armed forces to housing associations; from free food to glitter tattoos, we will have it all.

Stalls cost £50 – marquee, table and 2 chairs will be provided. To register complete this online form:

Looking for volunteers? Why not book a stall at our Volunteer Recruitment Fair but don’t leave it too long as stalls are going quickly.

The largest of its kind in Scotland, our annual fair is a fantastic opportunity to meet face to face with hundreds of potential volunteers from across the city. The fair will also feature access to volunteering and employment specialists and a friendly café to relax and refresh in.
