This November sees the return of The Forth Awards with Edinburgh St James and we want your help to find our winners for 2018! The ceremony recognises those living in our community as well as some of the biggest names in music and entertainment today. Perhaps you have a special reason to nominate someone in your community or maybe you feel there is a group or individual who works tirelessly for the needs of others.

Record breaking Mission Christmas helps thousands of local children

More than 20,500 children across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife will wake up to a Christmas present, thanks to the generosity of thousands of people throughout the region. This year’s Mission Christmas campaign, organised by Radio Forth’s Cash for Kids, has broken new records, with £1.1 million raised in gift and cash donations over the last six weeks. Forth 1 breakfast show ‘Boogie In The Morning’ is celebrating after the latest RAJAR figures reveal that the popular show has achieved a record breaking reach. The show – from 6am to 10am on weekdays – has a commanding lead at breakfast with over 275,000 listeners and an audience share of 20.7%.
