Today: Community Meals at Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre

Rise and shine! 🌞 Our lunch menu for Monday, 27th July, is a celebration of local, organic goodness! We’re thrilled to be serving a broad bean and goat’s cheese tart, made with broad beans harvested by the fabulous Walking Group at Edinburgh Agroecology Coop last week, paired with a fresh side salad.

For dessert, indulge in our Gooseberry Crumble Cake, made with gooseberries plucked from our very own garden, served with a divine fruit coulis created by the talented volunteer chef, Artemis!

This menu is a testament to the power of community and the beauty of summer – don’t miss out on this opportunity to treat yourself to a delicious, healthy, and uplifting meal.

As always, our doors open at 9am for a free breakfast and a warm welcome, so spread the word and invite your friends and family to join in on the feast!

For thousands of years, people around the world have used fermentation and pickling to make and preserve food, handing the knowledge down through generations.

Whether you are a total beginner, or already surrounded by bubbling jars, come along to this celebration of human x microbe collaboration.

Edinburgh Agroecology Co-op, Grass Roots Remedies and Rhyze Mushrooms are hosting a fermentation and pickling Tasting Fair, tours and workshops, and opening our brand new food processing space.

The food processing space, and this opening event, is kindly funded by Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Network Greenlight seedgrant fund.

Thank you to ECCAN and to everyone who voted for us to receive this grant.

The funding means we can make this event free – but spaces are limited, please book a ticket to attend.
