Lentil and root veg soup
Fish and chips with herby peas
Veggie chestnut sausages rolls
Apple crumble with custard and garden berry compote
Please check the board or ask our volunteers about allergens. And just a heads-up, our food is served until it runs out!
We’re inviting everyone in the community to come along and take part in our upcoming Local Litter Pick for Local Beautification. It’s a great opportunity to do something positive for the area, meet neighbours, and enjoy some fresh air and light exercise.
Date & Time: Monday 5th May
Meet at 10am outside Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre
What’s Provided:
No need to bring anything – we’ll provide all the equipment, including litter pickers and gloves. No experience is needed, just your enthusiasm and a bit of community spirit.
After the Pick:
We’ll finish up around 12 noon, and everyone is invited to join us back at the centre for a free community lunch as a thank-you for your efforts.
Whether you’re a regular volunteer or it’s your first time getting involved, we’d love to see you there. Every bit of help makes a real difference in keeping Drylaw clean, safe, and welcoming for all.
Let’s come together to show our local pride – all ages and abilities welcome!
If you have any questions or accessibility needs, feel free to get in touch with us beforehand.
Meet us at Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre to litterpick in the local neighbourhood with other likeminded locals.
This is the first litterpick of the year and will be repeated every first Monday of the month from 10 -12. We also serve a hot lunch back at the Centre between 12-12.30.
All welcome, free. Drop-in for any amount of time, no need to book.
As we approach Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre’s 30th Birthday next year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the vibrant history of our community.
We’re reaching out to you, our friends and neighbours, to help us celebrate this milestone by sharing your cherished memories of Drylaw & Telford over the years.
Whether it’s a story from the early days, a favourite event, or a simple moment that captures the spirit of our community, we’d love to hear it. Your memories, old or new, are an important part of what makes this place so special.
Please join us in preserving and celebrating our shared history by sharing your stories with us!
Get in touch if you’d like more information, or just pop along to one of the sessions!
Reminiscence Sessions are starting on Monday – 19th August!
Come along for a blether and help us build our memory book of Drylaw and Telford. This group is open to anyone with a connection to Drylaw and Telford, whether you have lived there your whole life, just arrived or have a different connection to the area.
The main purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for local people to access information about services which will be able to offer advice and support during the difficult months ahead.
We’re also having a community lunch on the day.
We are hoping to be able to open up the cafe area and increase the days that we are doing the community lunch and the pantry.
