Dogs Trust invites dogs and their owners to annual Greyfriars Bobby commemoration

  • Dogs Trust hosts second Greyfriars Bobby commemoration event, promoting responsible dog ownership
  • 70% of dog owners in Scotland are unaware it is a legal requirement for their pet to wear a collar & tag, as well as having an up-to-date microchip
  • Should our pet go missing, ensuring they wear a collar & tag makes it easier and quicker to be reunited with them and could save money on unnecessary kennel fees

LGBTI+ pop-up Social Dance Club session at Life Care

The LGBTI+ Elders Social Dance Club is a fabulous, free event for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Gender Diverse, and Intersex elders and allies, offering a chance to meet new people and celebrate community alongside refreshments, music, conversations and dancing.

No prior dance experience is required, just curiosity!

Participants are invited to join for a free pop up session at LifeCare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne Street on Saturday 1st February from 3 – 5pm.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sign up to support mentoring charity

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has helped launch a pioneering partnership which will see uniformed and support staff act as role models to care-experienced and disadvantaged young people across Scotland.
