Soldier killed by elephant during anti-poaching operation

A British soldier has died in Malawi during counter-poaching operations, the Ministry of Defence has said. Mathew Talbot, of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, was on a patrol on 5 May when he was believed to have been killed by an elephant. Centrica encourages Government action on paid carers leave

  • Centrica has changed its carers leave policy to help growing numbers of working carers
  • Centrica and Carers UK have written to the UK’s largest employers to encourage more support for carers
