Jen Richards leaves Pilton Community Health Project

Co-director Jen Richards has left Pilton Community Health Project:

Today is a day of reflection for me as I am leaving PCHP after working here for 9 ½ years; I’ve had a couple of different jobs here and my last one has been that of Director for the last 7 years (writes JEN RICHARDS).

I have thoroughly loved working in PCHP and in North West area. I’ve loved getting to know all of the people who have come through our doors over the years and hear their stories; there are some really inspiring people in this community! I’ve witnessed people’s lives changing as a result of the support they have received here at PCHP and the hard work they have put into making life changes.

Our recent crisis with the reduction in our funding has been a massive blow when we were at the top of our game; I have been incredibly proud of our supporters during this time and in particular those from our community, volunteers and staff team. We made a big noise and hopefully made a difference!

Our doors will continue to be open to welcome anyone who needs us and the amazing team I leave behind will be there for you. I’d like to thank all of the partners I’ve worked with over the years; we couldn’t do it without you.

It’s been an absolute pleasure and Pilton will remain in my heart for a very long time!

All the best

Jen

Despite Jen’s departure the fight to keep PCHP open goes on. Celebrity chefs Martin Wishart and Tom Kitchin helped launch a crowdfunder appeal on Thursday.
