Top names added to Wellbeing Festival lineup

Nutritional health coach and bestselling author Madeleine Shaw (above) joins celebrity trainer Faisal Abdalla, youtube star Carly Rowena and Edinburgh’s Tracy Griffen for the ultimate panel on how to get fit and stay FIT FOR LIFE. 

This expert panel discussion will advise on all aspects of health, from nutrition to the best workouts, suitable for all ages and through every stage of your life.

Glasgow rapper Darren McGarvey aka DJ Loki, will interview fellow rapper Professor Greenon the subject of modern masculinity.  Darren McGarvey is a performer, community activist, author and columnist for the Daily Record. He has presented eight programmes for BBC Scotland exploring the root causes of anti-social behaviour and social deprivation. His best-selling book Poverty Safari: Understanding the Anger of Britain’s UnderclasswonThe Orwell Prize, the UK’s most prestigious prize for political writing.

We are also pleased to announce our charity partners for 2019 – The Scottish Association for Mental Health and The Trussell Trust. 

The Trussell Trust runs a network of foodbanks across Scotland the rest of the UK to provide emergency food to people referred for support.  We will be running a foodbank at the festival where people can donate dried and tinned goods.  SAMH will be fundraising on the day.

Tickets start from £27.50 (including booking fee) and ALL tickets include all day access to the wellbeing marketplace, as well as first come first serve entry on a range of talk and workshops.
