A local author is to give free book readings for nursery and primary school students in North Edinburgh next month.
Fuschia Phlox, who lives in Granton, said: “My books teach safety and introduce kids to flowers and wildlife and themes like resilience and empathy. I read with puppets and offer a fun quiz at the end which encourage the children to draw, write their own stories and think about nature.”
The readings take place:
Thursday 5th July: West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre -10:45
Wednesday 11th July: Royston Wardieburn Community Centre – 10:45
Children’s Museum – 2nd September – 2pm
