Pupils and teachers across Edinburgh have joined a campaign to discourage inconsiderate parking at school gates. Granton, Flora Stevenson (above), Wardie and Ferryhill are among the local primary schools to sign up for the initiative.

Edinburgh businesses raise over £350,000 for children’s charity

Teams from Edinburgh organisations including EY, Larbert High School and University of Edinburgh Business School took on the heat of Dragons’ Glen, raising £16,026 in 2016/17 and supporting Children 1st, Scotland’s National Children’s Charity. Beltane Fire Festival events this weekend

Edinburgh’s most spectacular festival returns to Calton Hil this weekend. The Beltane Fire Festival will descend once more upon the centre of Edinburgh for a two days of drums, performance and fire. There’s a Beltane Open Day on Calton Hill this afternoon as a taster for Sunday evening’s spectacular event.
