Craigroyston Community High School’s adult learners are looking for a new home. Course organisers are urgently seeking temporary accomodation for mature students’ classes – and the courses start next week!
Community Access to Schools (North) development worker Fiona Henderson, who is based at Craigroyston, explained: “We are seeking to rehome for this term because we have Craigroyston Primary School using our day time classrooms – 250 additional pupils in the school, plus staff. Can you help at all with providing a room? Classes are due to start from Tuesday 3 May”.
The accomodation needed is:
Drawing for the Terrified Thursdays from 12.45-2.45pm (need space for drawing – tables/ chairs – for a group of 10 adults)
Mindfulness Thursdays 2-4pm (need nice ambience with chairs and space to sit on floor for meditation) for about 10 students – plus a white wall to project onto)
Scottish History Through Novels Wednesdays from 2-4pm (table/ chairs for 10 people plus a white wall to use for projection)
Unlikely I know but also seeking room with Computers Tuesdays 10am-12noon for about 10 people
And possibly Dead Inspiring People (Scots) Tuesdays from 2-4pm (need table/chairs for 10 people and DVD with TV)
Thank you if you can help rehome any of these daytime classes for this term – only 5 weeks.”
