On Friday 26 January, The Junction was proud to hold its first exhibition of work from their Creative Express arts program (writes Tessa Hughes). The event saw over 40 attendees, including friends and family of young people whose work was featured, as well as members of the local community and friends of The Junction. £14 million for young people and communities

More than £14 million of funding will support the work of 117 charities helping children and young people throughout Scotland. The money, from the 2018/19 Children, Young People and Families Early Intervention and Adult Learning and Empowering Communities Fund, will enable a wide range of projects aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people and supporting adult learning to be delivered. Cash for Kids boost for PYCP

Pilton Youth and Children’s Project (PYCP) will be cooking with gas following a £4700 donation from Radio Forth’s Cash for Kids. The local youth organisation provides vital services to the area’s young people and plans to use the money to develop kitchen facilities at the Greenhouse.
