PYCP: New term programme

PY is back! We’ve had a nice break but are ready to see everyone again!

Have a look at our new term programme, you might notice some changes 👀

We have a few new groups starting up, they won’t begin just yet (we’ll let you know when they do) but in the meantime our usual clubs will be back on.

Make sure you’re attending the right group for your age, and as always all children/young people need to complete a new consent form to join us.

PY: New Date for Sponsored Walk

New Date for our Sponsored Walk

Saturday 29th August

Our Youth Committee are taking on an exciting sponsored challenge to raise vital funds for PYCP. This time they’re pushing themselves even further by climbing a Munro, Ben Chonzie in Perthshire, as part of a sponsored walk!

This challenge is a fantastic opportunity for our young people to:

✅ Build confidence

✅ Work as a team

✅ Get outdoors

✅ Raise funds to support children and young people in our community

To sponsor the group and support the young people as they take on this challenge you can do it two ways:

Football Aid: Looking for Jodie

Does anyone recognise this photo?

PYCP have been contacted by the founder of Football Aid, who shared this brilliant picture taken at Tynecastle Park when Football Aid first launched.

The girl in the photo is believed to be Jodie Anderson from Pilton, who was around 6 years old at the time — so likely to be around 27 now.

They’d love to reconnect with her, so we thought we’d share it here in case someone knows her or she happens to see it herself.

PYCP: Community Chat & Chill Cafe

STARTS THIS THURSDAY 12 FEBRUARY: 12 – 2PM

To all our local neighbours:

For the next 7 weeks we are trialling a warm safe space for our Chat & Chill Cafe. Our first one is this Thursday 12 February midday to 2pm.

Whether you have children attending PYCP or not, EVERYONE in our community is welcome to join us.

Pop in, chill out and enjoy a warm space filled with good vibes and good company.

We will be serving up free homemade soup, tasty sandwiches and some extra treats to brighten your day.

Each session comes with giveaway goodies and a lively round of prize bingo (no cost to you).

We will also have our Pop up shop of affordable clothing if you want to browse and pick up some bargains (cash and card payments taken for this). Any money raised goes staight back in to the running of the clubs and groups.
