Millennium Centre trembles as Muirhouse Minis do Halloween!
Muirhouse Minis held their Hallowe’en Party for the children on Tuesday and 91 guests (54 kids-37 adults) were welcomed through the doors( writes James McGinty).
Preparation for the party with Danielle (mum, co-founder & committee member) started at 9.30 am with hall decoration, hotdog and cake making. Darren (D.J. and fun maker had his hands full for two full hours!
The following photos show the amountof work put in by the mums in decorating the hall and dressing up the kids, their imagination was amazing. I apologise if your child does not appear in the many photos that were taken!
The kindness of Edinburgh folk
Over the years many donations have been received by Muirhouse Millennium Centre from members of our community(writes JAMES McGINTY). The kindness still exists, and the latest donation (from someone who would like to remain anonymous) was a baby buggy in new condition. Nieve & Lacey posed for the camera, both children from the Muirhouse Mini’s.

Millennium Centre becomes Noah’s Ark!
Muirhouse Millennium Centre became Noah’s Ark on Thursday – the owners of all furry pets came together at our centre to satisfy themselves that their pets were healthy or be advised of any minor problems.
The initiative driven by Sarah Reid of Cats Protection.

Healthy appetites at Millennium Centre
Pilton Community Health Project food development instructor Joanna has led her second cooking instruction class in a fortnight at Muirhouse Millennium Centre (writes James McGinty).
Joanna is well known for her dedication to healthy foods and the latest selection included Overnight Oatmeal, Guacamole on toast, Guacamole Wraps and Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches. Last week’s treats included Grenola Bars and Humus.
Ballots not Bingo at Millennium Centre!
Due to Muirhouse Millennium Centre being a main venue for voters during all elections bingo has been cancelled this month. Next session will be advertised on our Facebook page and N.E.N website, and we hope to see you all soon, especially as he weather gets a a bit kinder to us!
