TEENAGER MISSING FROM GRANTON AREA

POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a missing teenager from the Granton area.

Taylor Russell, 18, was last seen around 4.15pm on Thursday, 13 March, 2025, in the West Granton Road area.

He is described as white, 5ft 3in tall, of slim build, with short brown hair. He usually wears a baseball cap and hooded sweatshirts. Taylor has connections in the Edinburgh and Dumfries areas and could have travelled there.

Inspector Kris Harvey, of Drylaw Police Station said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Taylor’s welfare and want to ensure he is safe and well.

“We are asking anyone who may have seen him since last Thursday, or who has any information on his whereabouts, to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number1268 of 15 March.

Police: Have you seen Aaron?

Police are asking for help to trace a 17-year-old teenager last seen in Leith. Aaron Strachan was last seen around 5pm in Leith Walk on Thursday (21 April). He is described as around 5ft 11, of average build, with short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a green/blue puffer style jacket, grey jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers.

Anyone who has seen Aaron or knows where he might be is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0696 of Thursday, 21 April, 2022.

Missing teenager: Can you help?

Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing teenager last seen in the Calder Gardens area. Vo Van Tu (17) was last seen around 7.30am yesterday (Wednesday 21 April).

He is described as being Vietnamese, around 5ft 6, slim to medium build, with short dark hair. He is believed to be wearing a red puffer jacket and dark trousers.

Police are concerned for his wellbeing and are asking for anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Inspector Caroline Flynn, from Drylaw Police Station, said: “We have growing concerns for Vo Van Tu’s wellbeing, partly due to his limited English and the length of time since he was last seen.

“If you believe you have seen him in Edinburgh, or may know his whereabouts, please contact police on 101, quoting incident 2896 of 21 April.”
