Early success for Royston Wardieburn’s Spring Chickens

Royston Wardieburn Community Centre’s new adult activities Spring Chickens group met for the first time yesterday, and by all accounts it seems the participants had an eggstra-special time!

Royston Wardieburn CLD worker Lydia Markham said: ” The new  group went really well with sixteen people coming along to the first session. After a consultation with them, next week we plan to have an introduction to iPads, Gentle Exercise and a Games session. The group starts at 12 noon with a light lunch.”

Cathy Umobi was one who attended the new Spring Chickens group. She said: “It was a great afternoon – I enjoyed it very much.”
