Photo Exhibition: Childhood Disrupted at the Assembly Rooms

Childhood Disrupted

The children of South Sudan have faced it all. Conflict, hunger and for some, an unimaginable journey to safety.

Childhood Disrupted, a powerful new photography exhibition from global children’s charity Plan International UK and supported by the People’s Postcode Lottery, shares stories of survival, hope and incredible resilience from children who have fled fighting in their home country.

It will also offer a unique chance to see what a child-friendly space in a refugee camp looks and feels like, and how these safe spaces help children adapt to their situation.

When: Friday 31st May to Sunday 2nd June, 10am-6pm

Where: Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh
