Until 27th January – Still time to tell us your priorities for North West Locality. Please complete our short survey and please share
The 2017 – 2022 North West Locality Improvement Plan (LIP) will help coordinate how key partners including the Council, NHS, Police etc. best use available resources to meet changing demands across our communities. The LIP will also help towards the delivery of the new Edinburgh City Vision 2050.
Everyone that lives in, visits or works in the North West area can now help shape what the LIP should focus on. The link below will take you to a brief questionnaire where you are asked to identify what you feel is important to you, your family and your neighbours.
The statements in the questionnaire have been created following a period of engagement during October and November where we gathered views and opinions from a wide range of people and organisations including engagement during October and November where we gathered views and opinions from a wide range of people and organisations including Neighbourhood Partnerships, community representatives and people who work in or visit the North West locality. We asked people to think about what could be improved in the next 5 years across the themes of:
- Health & Social Care and Wellbeing;
- Children, Young People and families;
- Place (environment, roads, parks, housing etc.);
- Employability
- Community Safety
Across the 5 themes, we have gathered over 900 views and opinions from individuals and group based discussions.
We have also taken into account earlier engagements that some people may have been involved with e.g. YouthTalk and Placemaking in South Queensferry and Corstorphine.
So, from the statements available for each of the themes, identify the top 5 you feel are most important to you. All partners are clear that all of the statements are likely to have meaning to people but this will help us identify what are the key priorities.
Please forward this link to anyone else you think might be keen to have their say
Thank you
