Scottish Book Trust is delighted to announce the distribution of 30,000 The Gruffalo books to children and families across Scotland, made possible by a donation from Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler and Macmillan Children’s Books, to mark the publication of Gruffalo Granny.
The donation – including Gruffalo Granny, The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child and the All About the Gruffalo board book – will reach families most in need of support through flagship programmes.
12,000 books distributed via Bookbug for the Home family kits, targeted school outreach, and early years training initiatives supporting the fight against child poverty.
10,000 copies of Gruffalo Granny to food banks, children’s hospitals and charities via Scottish Book Trust’s Christmas Appeal.
