New store openings at Fort Kinnaird

Six new stores have launched at Fort Kinnaird in time for the Christmas shopping season, including a fashion debut for Edinburgh.

The exciting additions include premium fashion retailer, Tessuti, which is opening its first store in the city. The brand-new shop houses designer menswear, womenswear and kidswear including big names such as BOSS, Polo Ralph Lauren and Barbour.

Footwear store, Office, and luxury jewellers, Goldsmiths, also opened their new stores in November, alongside Beauty bar Brows, which specialises in treatments including threading, waxing, tinting and lash treatments.

Two more stores will also make Fort Kinnaird their home before the end of the year, taking the total number of new store openings at the centre in 2019 to nine.

Wren Kitchens, the UK’s number one kitchen retailer, opened its doors on 29th November, to be followed by quirky gift and stationery shop, Typo, before Christmas. From pencil cases and notebooks, to cushions and crafts for the home, Typo has a range of budget-friendly finds for everyone.

The new stores at Fort Kinnaird will extend their opening hours for Christmas, along with other retailers at the centre, opening until 10pm every weeknight from 9am. At the weekend, shops will be open from 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10am to 6pm on Sundays.

Click & Collect services are also available, giving shoppers the chance to order online and collect in store.

Liam Smith, centre manager at Fort Kinnaird, said: “Our six new openings are part of our ongoing investment at Fort Kinnaird which has made major progress in 2019. As well as bringing great new brands to the centre, including Hotel Chocolat and Krispy Kreme, we’ve also worked with retailers that have been here for years to develop their offering and re-locate them to new and improved stores.

“Our latest openings will give shoppers even more choice for Christmas this year, and we look forward to welcoming everyone in the run up to the big day.”
