Congratulations to Edinburgh Eastern Labour Party’s ‘East Meets West’ quiz team, who fought off all challengers to win the Gavin Strang Edinburgh Quaich at Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre earlier this month.
In a nailbiting finale, the wise men (and women) from the east came from afar behind to secure victory in the event by a single point over constituency party teams from across the city.
The quiz was organised Edinburgh Western and champions Eastern will now host the next social event on a date to be confirmed.
