Community councillors invited to Waterfront event tomorrow

Local community councillors have been invited to attend a Waterfront consultation meeting at Edinburgh College’s Granton Campus tomorrow.

The invitation was extended to all community councils across the North West Locality by West Pilton West Granton and Muirhouse Salvesen community councils.

The invite reads:

Dear All,

I am writing to you in my capacity as the Chair of the West Pilton West Granton Community Council with an invitation to all community councils and councillors.

The North-West Community Councils are invited to attend a briefing and Q&A session at Edinburgh College Granton Campus on the 11th May from 11am to 12.30pm.

You will have an opportunity to hear from the architects commissioned to develop a vision and a development plan for our Waterfront; from Cramond to Leith.

The architects and Planners from the Council will be in attendance.

This is an important gathering to hear first hand and to raise your questions on how this massive project impacts on all our community council areas.

Could you please invite all your community councillors to this gathering.

Written questions could be sent and read out by the Chair if you are unable to attend.
