To all local Parents from PYCP:
As you know we have kept a dedicated space on our programme on Friday mornings for Local Parents to come and meet up.
In the past we had funding that meant we could have staff to coordinate but in the last few years we have not been able to do this. For a time local parents met up and ran it themselves.
To anyone who hasn’t been before PYCP gave parents exclusive use of the cafe and kitchen (to make teas/coffees/bacon butties etc!) and also use of our soft play room.
In the last couple of weeks we have had a couple of local parents interested in coming along to the club and we have had to let them know that there is no one else who comes at this time.
What we would like to have is local parents who are interested in starting up a local parents group again to get in touch with us and we can help them set up and promote it through our social media. We are also recruiting for a volunteer worker to help in the group too.
