Have your say on LIP Action Plan

The North West Locality Improvement Plan (LIP) has been developed to help organisations design and deliver improved services across the North West of the city of Edinburgh – and now YOU can help to make the plan even better.

The North West Locality stretches from South Queensferry along the shoreline through Cramond, Barnton, Granton and Trinity and moves south to Warriston, then west along the northern reaches of the new town including Stockbridge, and continues through Roseburn, Murrayfield, Corstorphine and past the Airport to Ratho Station and onto Kirkliston (and all communities in between).

The outcomes in the Locality Improvement Plan were identified following engagement and consultation with communities in December 2016 and January 2017. Since then, the plan has gone through various stages to be agreed and more recently, a first draft action plan has been developed.

We now need to develop the action plan further to make sure it meets the needs and aspirations of communities and to support greater involvement from all our partners.

The plan is divided into 5 themes and also includes smaller geographical area plans where it is known that there are significant social and economic challenges.
