Ye ken The Junction?

Have you ever been involved with The Junction? If you have, we want to hear from you! This year, The Junction celebrates 13 years of supporting the young people of Leith and we’re planning to produce a booklet that tells our story. One section of this booklet will be dedicated to positive stories from people who have had a part in our journey, whether that’s as a client, volunteer or any other form of involvement.

You can share your story in a number of ways- we’ve set up an online form that gives some guidance for those unsure of how to go about getting their story down in words. Links for the form can be found on our social media sites, where you can also drop us a personal message if you wish. Alternatively you can send us an email or even send us something in the post if you’d rather! It can also be arranged for verbal stories to be taken if necessary, just let us know.

The cut-off date for submissions is July 18th and all submissions will be treated as anonymous unless you state to us that you’d like your name included. Our booklet will be published towards the end of the year and we will be holding a community event to celebrate our birthday in December. We encourage people to share this information around so we can reach as many people as possible that may have used our services.
