Creative Me: Ocean Terminal art exhibition marks Scottish Autism’s 50th anniversary

April is Autism Awareness Month, and charity Scottish Autism is exhibiting a collection of artwork at Leith’s Ocean Terminal. ‘Creative Me’ is a diverse range of pieces, all created by autistic individuals to mark Scottish Autism’s 50th Anniversary.

When planning our anniversary exhibition, we looked to celebrate through the creation of a collection of fifty artworks, but were delighted with the response we received from a larger group of people keen to get involved and have the opportunity to showcase their creative talents. The artworks are self-expressive pieces, artistically created in a variety of media.

The free exhibition will be displayed at the Image Collective Gallery within Ocean Terminal in Leith and is open to the public from 1 – 30 April. Visit www.oceanterminal.com to check the shopping centre opening times. There may be other opportunities to see the exhibition so look out for more announcements on our website and social media throughout the year.
