Please find attached publicity for this year’s International Women’s Day event at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre next Wednesday (7th March) from 10 – 2.30.
It’s been put together very quickly but we felt that it was really important to mark it this year with it being the anniversary of the first women getting the vote in Britain.
Although we’ve still got a long way to go, its important that we take the time to celebrate the achievements and the struggles of women around the world and from this community. And if that’s not enough to get you along on Wednesday there’s also a free creche, free lunch and scones and fresh cream!
Hope you can join us even if its just for a blether and a scone!
