There’s a thrilling mystery to solve this summer as The Edinburgh Dungeon returns to the festival with its new evening show, Deadly Dungeon Murder Mystery.
Following the shocking murder of Dungeon stalwart Judge Mental conspiracy theories abound. In this fully immersive ‘Whodunnit’ experience, visitors are asked to turn detective by joining the Secret Society of Scottish Scoundrels to investigate.
Adding an intriguing twist to the edge-of-seat storytelling for which the attraction is known, the evening performances are an exciting addition to the attraction’s summer programme that includes Wicked Women – featuring one of Scotland’s feistiest females, Mary Queen of Scots.
But as they encounter colourful characters from Scotland’s past and the story of the judge’s demise unravels, they’ll need to keep their wits about them – after all no one is free of suspicion. Was it the cannibals in the courtroom with the candlestick or did something sinister happen in the Street of Sorrows? Only those brave enough to sign up will crack the case …
There are only seven performances of Deadly Dungeon Murder Mystery on 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th and 26th August at 19.30. Tickets are £17.50 and are available from the fringe box office during August or at edfringe.com.
