The fabulous Edinburgh Gang Show is back!
Over 250 young people from Scouting and Girlguiding will swap their camping gear and the outdoor life for the glitz and glamour of the theatre world when the annual Gang Show returns to the capital next week.
Running from the 17 – 21 November at the King’s Theatre, the Edinburgh Gang Show includes incredible song and dance numbers from pop sensation Sam Smith to classic musicals such as Miss Saigon and many more, as well as laugh out loud sketches.
Andy Johnston, the Edinburgh Gang Show Director said: “It is always a great honour to direct the Edinburgh Gang Show and this year is no different. It really is a show with something for everyone – with the now traditional mix of music, dance and comedy that has become our trademark.
“This year we feature songs as varied as hits from Bruno Mars, Sam Smith & Pet Shop Boys; songs from classic musicals such as Miss Saigon and The Producers alongside tunes from modern musicals such as Gary Barlow’s Finding Neverland, Memphis & We Will Rock You. We also meet some very Scottish superheroes and present our own unique take on Annie. Oh – and there may be the odd panda or two hanging around, all culminating in a traditional Edinburgh Finale!

Performed annually at the King’s Theatre since 1960 the Edinburgh Gang Show is the biggest show of its type in the world. With a cast of Cub Scouts, Brownies, Scouts and Guides, Explorer Scouts and Young Leaders the Gang Show allows members of the Scout Association and Girlguiding in Edinburgh to gain confidence, make new friends and have a great time performing in a professional theatre.
