NHS 24’s 111 service is free and provides urgent care and advice.
Circumstances where you should consider using 111 include:
Need urgent health advice and cannot wait until your GP, pharmacy or dentist reopen
Have a mental health concern and are in distress
Think you need to attend A&E but it’s not life or limb-threatening (In an emergency always call 999!)
Remember – #NHSinform is always available and can save you time getting the information and advice you are looking for without the need to call 111
