Local Care Home hosts REMAP talk

TUESDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2 – 4pm

Staff at Queens Manor Care Home in Barnton, Edinburgh are hosting a talk from Paul Whitman on the amazing charitable work they do at REMAP.

REMAP work on adapting equipment needed to meet the unique needs of individuals at no cost to them. The equipment, produced by our team of dedicated volunteers, can help with day-to-day tasks such as mobility, personal care or eating. Or it can enable the client to pursue a hobby or ambition, such as participating in a sport or art activity.

General Manager of the home, Margaret said: “We are very pleased to be welcoming Paul in to do a talk and answer and questions.  They do such amazing work for the community”

Queens Manor care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals.

Queens Manor provides residential care and dementia care for 60 residents from respite care to long term stays. The home regularly holds events and activities for its residents, relatives and surrounding neighbours.
