Tom Kitchen calls in to support PCHP

Top Scottish chef Tom Kitchin called in to Pilton Community Health Project on Friday to show his support for the local organisation – the oldest community health project in the country.

PCHP’s future is under threat following funding cuts to Health and Social Care Grants announced by Edinburgh Integration Joint Board in December. The project, which has been part of North Edinburgh’s community landscape since 1984, has already been forced to shed much-valued staff and PCHP’s future remains in the balance.

Tom met staff, volunteers and service users and enjoyed some home-made scones while chatting

The Michelin-starred chef is offering some great incentives to supporters who sign up to PCHP’s crowdfunding initiative, as is his colleague Martin Wishart.

The campaign has raised over £10,500 to date (including Gift Aid) – all donations large and small are welcome.

New incentives and offers are coming soon – keep an eye on www.savepchp.com for more information.
