Are you from an ethnic minority background and curious about a career in policing? Police Scotland is committed to increasing diversity within its workforce to better reflect the increasingly diverse communities we serve.

Join us at our upcoming online information event, which will give you a fantastic opportunity to gain insight on the recruitment process and the training at the Scottish Police College. Plus, there will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about working for Police Scotland.

The event will take place on Thursday 9 March, from 6.30pm – 8.30pm, via Microsoft Teams.

Police: Black and Minority community online recruitment event

We are hosting a Black and Minority Ethnic online recruitment event via Microsoft Teams from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, 27 October, as part of Black History Month.

There are well documented barriers to some people applying to join the police service. We, therefore, run a number of different recruitment events to answer specific questions from people from diverse communities. This is to make sure everyone has fair access to the Police Scotland recruitment process.

Police to host Online Recruitment Event tomorrow

POLICE will be hosting an online recruitment event aimed at people from all European communities across Scotland.

This event will give attendees a fantastic opportunity to hear from serving officers and their experiences as police officers in Scotland as well as the opportunity to ask questions.

The event will also focus on the recruitment process and the training, with a unique insight into life at the Scottish Police College.

The event will be on Tuesday 27th September 2022 – 6.30pm – 8.30pm, on Microsoft Teams.

Police Scotland Positive Action Team will be hosting an online information event aimed at the ethnic minorities in Scotland tonight.

This event will give attendees a fantastic opportunity to hear from serving ethnic minority police officers and their experiences.

The event will also focus on the recruitment process and the training, with a unique insight into life at the Scottish Police College at Tulliallan from the minority groups perspective.

Police to hold online recruitment event on Thursday evening

Police Scotland’s Positive Action Team would like to invite all European nationals living in Scotland who are interested in a policing career, to join us for an online recruitment event.

This event will take place on Thursday 27th January 2022, at 6.30pm and will be accessed through Microsoft Teams.

Come and speak to serving officers to find out about what it takes to become a Police Constable, what makes it an amazing career, and how to be successful through the recruitment process.

You will get also get an insight into the training, probation period and career development opportunities and will have the opportunity to ask officers questions.
