‘Meet the Funders’ is a free marketplace event providing access to funding information for community projects. It is an opportunity for groups to discuss their ideas with potential funders and collect a range of information about possible sources of grant aid. The event also offers the groups an opportunity to meet and work together.

Climate fund success for Millennium Centre

£38,000 boost for Muirhouse Millennium Community Centre

News has just reached us that our application to the Climate Challenge Fund has been accepted and a grand Total of £ 38,461.66p has been awarded to our Centre to support the ambitious and unique programme put forward by our Manager Peter Airlie in collaboration with CLD’s Alan Hosey (writes James McGinty)

In the application they highlighted the need for three additional staff members to run this project, great news for the successful candidates.

Following our Public Meeting on 9 March, we have still not secured any more funding from the Council. This is despite assurances from local elected councillors who attended the meeting.

As a result we are holding another Public Meeting on Wednesday 27 April 2016 at 7pm in the Prentice Centre and have invited the same councillors. We would appreciate your support in attending this meeting.
