A man who assaulted a woman and attempted to sexually assault her has been jailed. At Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, Juan Martin Comba Valdez was convicted and sentenced to 18-months in prison for the attack, which took place in Morrison Street during the early morning of Sunday 12th May. Invergordon’s new Shannon class lifeboat is set to host the names of thousands of people being commemorated by loved ones in the RNLI’s new and unique memorial.
