Cycle4Con – Scotland International Cricketers Craig Wallace and Ali Evans prepare for Cycle4Con – here overlooking Strathearn from the Ochil Hills, Perthshire – cycling miles in training ahead of their challenge, from 2nd to 9th October, to visit cricket grounds, clubs and areas key to Con de Lange’s life and career right across Scotland
With the route yet to be finalised Craig (from Broughty Ferry) and Ali (from Edinburgh) are already set to visit St Andrews, Aberdeen, Arbroath, Falkland and Meigle before heading to a number of clubs in Edinburgh and finishing in Glasgow and Paisley. The journey will cover 672 miles – Con’s International Cap number – and will continue mark Con de Lange’s contribution to cricket and sport in general though-out his career while raising funds to help brain tumour research and the condition which took his life so untimely.
